UTM parameters allow you to track the performance of your email campaigns in Google Analytics. By enabling the "Add Google Analytics link tracking" option in DirectIQ, three UTM parameters, utm_medium, utm_source, and utm_campaign are automatically added to the links in your emails. This lets you track the source, medium, and campaign, helping you monitor how effective your emails are in driving traffic and engagement on your website.
DirectIQ allows you to edit campaigns that haven't been sent yet. To do this, go to Campaigns -> Campaigns List, select the campaign, and click Edit. You can change the campaign name, add tags, and modify any step by clicking "Change" next to it. You can also switch the campaign type if needed. After editing, click "You're Good to Go! Start Your Campaign" or "Finish Later" to save your changes as a draft.
At the second step of creating a campaign in DirectIQ, select your recipients by choosing contact lists, segments, or tags from the drop-down menus. You can select multiple options at once, DirectIQ will ensure each contact only receives the email once. The total number of unique recipients is displayed below the tag selector.

You can design a series of emails, set the interval between them, and choose when each email should be sent. It allows precise timing, including full-day or specific time scheduling, and includes options like Google Analytics tracking.
The Lead Nurturing automation sends a series of emails to new subscribers added to a selected list. You can design multiple emails to be sent at specific intervals, guiding users through your products and services. The timing of each email can be customized with options like sending immediately or on specific days/times, and Google Analytics can be enabled for tracking.
The Happy Birthday automation sends a personalized email to subscribers on their birthday, offering special promotions or discounts. DirectIQ Flows automate email marketing by triggering actions based on specific events. You can set up triggers, delays, emails, and conditions to personalize communication with your audience. Flows help streamline engagement, improve retention, and nurture leads effectively.
To manage your flows, go to Sidebar -> Flows. You can edit or delete active or drafted flows. Editing allows you to adjust components like delays, emails, and logic, while deleting removes the flow permanently. If you only need to pause, save it as a draft instead. Proper management keeps your automated communication relevant and organized.
To create a new flow, go to Sidebar -> Flows, click "Create New," set a flow name, and choose the "Contact added to list" trigger. Select your list, add a delay block, then an email block with your settings. Optionally, add a logic block for conditions. Save and publish or save as draft to edit later. Discard to undo changes.
