Email spam is generally described as unsolicited messages sent to users that may also contain harmful code. As such, email servers and services identified as potential sources of spam messages are subject to strong counter-measures by receiving servers including reduced and non-delivery of email. To ensure that email sent from DirectIQ is handled correctly and promptly by other mail services, campaign message recipients have the option of marking messages as 'spam' via a link in the footer of each email that is sent out by DirectIQ. Contacts associated with flagged email messages are marked as 'Disabled', and those contacts cannot be used in future campaigns until their status is updated to 'Active' on the Contact Details page.

You can proactively reduce the possibility of your message being flagged as spam by verifying the template code with our spam doctor feature and using double opt-in for new subscribers. Use this report to view email addresses that have reported your messages as possible spam to determine appropriate follow-up action.

Go to Campaigns -> Campaigns List, select the campaign that has already been sent and click Reports at the right of the campaign card.

An Overview page with campaign detailed information open. Click Complaints at the top of the page to see a spam complaints report.

Here you can review spam complaints by hours and all contacts who have marked the email as spam.
