Sending Test Email

In DirectIQ it is possible to test your templates by sending them to test email addresses. To do this first select a template you want to test. Then click on the menu button in the bottom right corner and click Send Test in the context menu.

The following dialog box will open.

1. Enter one or more test addresses to which you want to send emails in the text box.

2. If you enable the checkbox Remember the list, the next time you want to send a test email, the mailing list will be filled in automatically, when the dialog box opens. If you do not want to remember the addresses, to which you send an email, uncheck this checkbox.

3. Optional Note. This is a text message, that will be displayed after the subject line.

4. Send from. Sender email address. You need to select the sender address from the drop-down list or create a new one. There are all senders from your account in the drop-down list. If you want to add a new one, you must verify it first. Read more about how to manage email sender addresses.

After all fields are filled click Send. Then a banner with a success message will appear at the top of the page.
