To make your emails look more personalized, you can use Dynamic Tags when editing your template. Use these tags to include dynamic content, the content that changes based on information stored within the DirectIQ database.

Please, note that you should have the corresponding fields filled in your contact lists for the personalization to work properly (i.e. Email, First Name, Last Name, etc.)

Use Drag&Drop Editor

To customize your template in Drag and Drop Editor and make it more human just follow these easy steps:

  1. Select the text box in which you want to add a dynamic tag. The context menu for editing text will open. Click Personalization > Merge Tags in the bottom right corner.

2. In the dialog box, that opens, select the tag you want to insert.

3. Then a tag will be added in the text box.

Use Rich Text Editor

If you use Rich Text Editor, then follow these steps:

  1. Find in the toolbar button Token and click on it.

2. In the dialog box, that opens, select a tag from the drop-down list and click OK.

3. Then a tag will appear in the editor.

It is also possible to add the tags to the subject line of your campaign. Go to Contacts -> Fields to find all tags and their meanings.
